Here's a list of some of the recent saved articles. I haven't read any of them yet:
- CR Sunday Interview: Box Brown - Tom's interviews are always a good read
- Comic books: A freakish kind of writing - Interesting historical context here
- The violent, sexist world of comic website comments - This shit really needs to stop
- The Life and Times of the Modern Comic Book Artist - So ya wanna be a comic creator?
- You Can Finally Get Miracleman, a Comic That Changed Everything, Then Vanished - Despite my 80's indie comic cred, I missed this first time around. (I actually have no "cred" at all - I just read the darn things)
- One and Done: Why Moon Knight Is The Perfect Monthly Comic - Since I read Marvel almost exclusively, this was my Batman. Enjoyed Bill Sienkiewicz's work on this title immensely. And Ellis is usually worth a look too.
- Mark Waid: Sunday Conversation - I worked in funny book retail a lifetime ago, and I am still interested in the business side of things
- Die Alone, Unmourned, and Unloved: Reflections upon Reading Cerebus - I read issues 25-120, then the last three years of Sims' epic. I need to re-read someday. And it's from Canada! JUST LIKE ME!
- INFINITE IMPROBABILITY: A collection of comics and thoughts - This one kinda fits with the (very) loose theme of this blog
Perhaps my loyal readership could read these for me and give me a synopsis on each one. I would be grateful, and frankly very surprised if any of you actually did that for me. It would reek of awesomeness.
Quickly now - I don't have all day.
